ABOUT BEYOND CHIROPRACTIC

Welcome, I am Dr. Crystal Wachtel and it is my honor and privilege to be serving the people of Baldwin County through this practice! I was born in Alexander City, Alabama and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. After high school, I moved back to Alabama to attend Auburn University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences.

After graduation, I started a career in orthopedics, only treating symptoms that typically led to prescription drugs and surgeries. I quickly realized this was not the path for me. I found a job with a chiropractor, and I was amazed by the results achieved with chiropractic care. I saw the effect that a holistic approach had on the overall health and function of the body. This experience drove me to enroll at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL.

I got very involved in the Motion Palpation Institute, learning the importance of the musculoskeletal system’s impact on the healing and proper function of the body’s central nervous system. I also dove deep into prenatal and pediatric care. I practice the Webster technique which is an effective adjustment to provide relief to mom, open up the pelvis to give baby optimal space with easier delivery, and make sure the nervous system is functioning optimally for mom and baby. I have a strong passion for promoting overall health and wellness in families. I am very excited to be a part of this community!
